Malta Dementia Society elected full member of Alzheimer Europe

Malta Dementia Society was elected as full member of Alzheimer Europe at the Annual General Meeting held at the 16th Annual Alzheimer Europe Conference on the 29th June 2006 in Paris. The work and achievements of the Malta Dementia Society were recognised by the council and elected members from the European countries attending the meeting. Over the last two years, the Malta Dementia Society has collaborated with Alzheimer Europe by giving feedback on existing services for people with dementia and has conducted a literature search on the provision of home care services. It is hoped with full membership, the Malta Dementia Society would be able to take a more active part in the various programmes organised by Alzheimer Europe.
