Forthcoming Activities:

Alzheimer Netherlands Visit Alzheimer Disease International has accepted Malta's application for a twinning programme with Alzheimer Netherlands, an established Alzheimer organisation. This is a unique opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge and ultimately receive help and support from a fellow Alzheimer association. Mr. Marco Blom, Director of Alzheimer Netherlands will be visiting Malta from Saturday 12th to Wednesday 16th July. During his visit, Mr. Blom will be meeting committee members of the Malta Dementia Society, healthcare staff working with people with dementia, and policy makers. The aim of the meetings is to learn from the experiences of other countries and to continue improving dementia care in Malta. A talk for all members of the Malta Dementia Society is going to be organised as detailed below: The Malta Dementia Society Would like to invite all interested parties especially dementia carers and health care professions to a free public talk on “Dementia care and services” Presented by Mr Marco Bloom, Director Alzheimer Netherlands On Monday 14th July 2008 from 6pm-7pm at 5, Lion Street, Floriana at 6:00 p.m. (located near Argotti Gardens, Floriana)
